POW WOW FUCHSIA

When I wore this dress to the office, everyone went "Woooooooooowwwww!!!" I know that to wear a fuchsia dress to the office, or even anywhere else, is not for the faint hearted. But isn't it nice to surprise and brighten up the office just before the weekend? Because I almost never wear flats in the office, but want to retain the cuteness of this dress, I brought out my Madame Mouse heels to keep the outfit fun. And for the sake of this photoshoot, I decided to go all out pink with my violet and pink Carrera shades, the very thing I have been so obsessed with that I have to get 2 pairs of the same design in different colors! Why don't you join me and rock some bright colors on Friday?

BERRY EASY

If you haven't already noticed, I'm obsessed with bright colored pants. They make a strong statement without you having to try too hard. The idiot proof way to wear a pair of berry colored pants is with black and white pieces. Here, I wore it with a white t-shirt and a black jacket. Not only is it so easy and comfortable, the jacket also keeps the outfit smart enough for work.

BRETON FRIDAY

I can't get enough of Breton stripes. Ever since Coco Chanel featured them in her collection in 1917, Breton stripes have made their way into the hearts of the fashion world and never looked back. I've about 5 Breton tops in an assortment of colors and cuts and I'm still building my collection! This white and navy Breton top from COS is my current favorite. The easiest way to wear this is with black, white and camel, which is oh so classic, you can never go wrong. But to celebrate the end of the work week, I've decided to make it more fun and wore it with a pair of vermillion colored cropped pants. Hang in there ladies, the weekend is almost here!

A FRESH TAKE ON COLOR

Black, white, navy, grey, neutrals. Don't we ever get tired of the same colors over and over again? I do! Why not add a splash of color to your wardrobe and office by donning something different from the rest? Yellow and cyan make an interesting combination which instantly brightens you and lights up the room. So why not consider this if your bosses are not too conservative and for days when you don't need to meet clients. If this combo is too much for you to stomach right now, start with a bright top or bottom and keep the rest of your outfit muted. I'm sure you'll earn a number of second looks from passers-by and your colleagues. Have fun!
